Once
we understand the incredible self-regulating
and self-healing capacity with which all of
us were born, and realize that we have
unwittingly been sabotaging our health by
making decisions based upon misinformation,
we are in the position of choosing health -
for the rest of our lives! All we have to do
is to consistently follow the Four
Astonishingly Simple Steps. These Steps work
because, perhaps for the first time in a
long time, we will be providing the body
with all the nutrients it needs to maintain
vibrant health and we will be minimizing its
exposure to the toxins which make it sick
and result in premature aging. Just follow
the Simple Steps and God will do the rest.

STEP ONE: MAKE WATER YOUR BEVERAGE OF
CHOICE
Water is a principal component of health and
we should endeavor to drink at least 8
glasses of “fresh” water a day. Any type of
water as long as it is not tap water will
work – preferably consumed throughout the
day.
STEP TWO: EAT REAL FOOD
Today it’s almost astonishing that few of us
really are aware of what constitutes Real
Food. Real Food is food exactly as God put
it on the earth. For example, an
apple…..particularly an organic apple is
Real Food, store bought applesauce is not
Real Food; and store bought apple juice,
which is even more processed, actually has a
negative nutritional value. Therefore, as we
see, Real Food is live, whole, preferably
organic and minimally processed food.
Realistically speaking, given the fast paced
nature of the modern world, and recognizing
that we are human beings and not saints, the
goal of this second step is to include 50%
Real Food in your diet. With respect to the
other half of the food we eat, we want to
minimize our intake of proteins,
particularly animal proteins; we want to
avoid dairy products of all kinds,
especially non organic dairy products; bad
fats such as shortenings, lards, margarines,
saturated fats and hydrogenated fats; and
lastly, we want to minimize simple
carbohydrates such as white sugar, white
rice and white flour. An optimum diet
contains approximately 40% live, whole,
unprocessed vegetables, 20% whole grains,
15% fruit, 15% of good fats (including the
two Essential Fats found in flax seed), and
no more than 10% proteins. It is that
simple!

STEP THREE: TAKE APPROPRIATE SUPPLEMENTS
While theoretically, a person could obtain
close to the optimal amount of the wide
range of nutrients and substances the body
requires for vibrant health from food, it
would be expensive, time consuming and very
difficult to do so. Thus, getting healthy
quickly, inexpensively and effectively can
be enhanced by including high grade,
organic, hypoallergenic supplements in our
daily health program. Persons in pursuit of
vibrant health should definitely start with
one of the three Foundation Paks which have

which all human beings need to be healthy.

STEP FOUR: MOVE
The last of the FOUR ASTONISHINGLY SIMPLE
STEPS is the basic concept of movement.
There are three components to this step:

Physical Movement:
In the first few weeks or month or so of the
adoption of the FOUR ASTONISHINGLY SIMPLE
STEPS you will be detoxifying rapidly and
will find yourself to be a little fatigued
or tired as your body goes through that
detoxification process. However, generally
after two, three or four weeks, you will
find yourself totally energized with a
renewed vigor for life and will be called
upon to exercise whether you like it or not.
So, be patient with yourself, taking it one
step at a time knowing that as you detoxify
and your body starts to return to balance,
you will know when it’s time to include a
simple 30 minutes every other day or so of
moderate aerobic exercise.
· Removal
of Toxins:
Secondly, the concept of movement refers to
moving all toxins out of your house and
workplace and replacing them with “green
products” which do not contain harsh
chemicals or petrochemical derivatives. Do
not underestimate the significance of
unnecessary exposure to these toxins -
especially over the long run.
· Spiritual
Movement:
Thirdly, the concept of movement involves
the transformation from the focus of
intention from our head to our heart – the
longest journey we will ever take. Life is
not an intellectual undertaking, but a
spiritual adventure and as we get healthy we
will find our understanding of the universe
and our role in it to change dramatically
and instead of days of drudgery and toil our
life will be filled with passion and joy
automatically and without any effort on our
part. It is part of the reward for
reassuming responsibility for the quality of
our life. |
